Seniors Phoebe Wolfe-Lyons and Ellie Gleason of Dos Pueblos High in California placed third and sixth, respectively, at the Channel League cross country championship meet at College Park in Oxnard. Wolfe-Lyons covered the 3-mile layout in 18:51.67 and Gleason ran 19:10.79 to help Dos Pueblos finish second overall behind Ventura by a 27-60 margin and advance to the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 prelims Nov. 12 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
